West of Scotland Winter Golfers Alliance

The West of Scotland Golfers Alliance was formed early in the twentieth century, initially to give tournament golf professionals the chance to play competitive golf during the winter months.

Later, low handicap amateurs were introduced and today a mixture of professionals, assistant professionals, and amateurs make up the membership. Open to both male and female.

Stewart Savage has won the West Alliance Championship, congratulations to him.
We would love to give some kind of prize for the championship winner and winners of each of the Order of Merits. Unfortunately due to lack of numbers playing, the Alliance has once again made a loss throughout the year and we will be unable to pay out additional amounts.

Some of you may already be aware, but as from 18th May 2018, laws regarding how web sites use your personal details are changing and all websites holding personal details will require to be secure. That costs money so next year we will be investing in an upgrade to "Handicap Master" for booking on, start sheets and results.
The website will continue to run but purely for information. No personal details will be held on the website.
