About us 2007 - 2008

The West of Scotland Golfers Alliance was formed early in the twentieth century, initially to give tournament golf to professionals during the winter months. Later, low handicap amateurs were introduced and today a mixture of professionals, assistant professionals and amateurs make up the membership.
